Join a group of American students at SPEAK OUT English camp!
WHAT IS IT?
SpeakOut is a conversational English Camp for students ages 15–19. You must speak English at least at beginner level. In the mornings, you will join in large group discussions and small group tutor times. Afternoons and evenings will be filled with fun activities and crazy games! You will have the chance to discuss (in English!) all the things that are important to you: relationships, making friends, life-philosophy, films, dating, music, sex, love…and more! All of the American students and teachers are Christians. They are invited here by Focus, a Slovak Christian student organization. The topic of Christianity and philosophy can be part of the conversations. However, it is important to know that you don’t have to be a Christian to come to SpeakOut.

After this date: 175 €/week

Cez SpeakOut som našla komunitu priateľov, ktorú som predtým nemala. Našla som úžasné nové priateľstvá a videla som, akí sú ľudia rôznorodí. Viac mi to pomohlo zamýšľať sa nad otázkami dôležitými pre život študenta a akceptovať iných. Páčilo sa mi, akí sú Američania veľmi otvorení a nerobia si ťažkú hlavu, keď poviem niečo nesprávne. Získala som nové skúsenosti s ľuďmi z inej kultúry. Bolo super vidieť, keď skúšali hovoriť po slovensky, a videla som, aké je dôležité skúšať, aj keď to ide ťažšie. |
